Covid19 Update

Following government advice, our office is not open at present.  Linx staff are still working from home and can be contacted through our Facebook or Twitter accounts or by emailing info@hemlingtonlinx.org.

Staff continue to support young people and their families in Middlesbrough, by delivering food packages, arts and crafts supplies, sports equipment and running competitions and quizzes to keep young people occupied and safe.

News Update

We are delighted to announce that we have been successful in receiving grant funding from County Durham Community Foundation.  This grant will allow us to continue our food surplus delivery to families in need in Middlesbrough, through the Covid 19 pandemic.

Youth Projects in Middlesbrough

Linx runs open access youth clubs Monday – Friday across different wards in Middlesbrough for young people aged 10-19 and up to 25 with Special Educational Needs. Within the youth clubs, young people can learn new things such as cooking skills, life skills, cultural skills and more, as well as engaging in positive activities such as arts and crafts, PS4, table tennis, team building games and much more.

Support

Linx offers help, advice and support for young people around a variety of topics: alcohol and drug misuse, smoking, healthy eating and sexual health. Staff are able to work one-to-one with a young person, or deliver tailored programmes to young people in schools and colleges.
